Help Spread the Word about HSI HSI relies on critical funding from individuals and foundations to support our programs. Over 500 generous individuals give to HSI each year through our Annual Gala and Year-End Appeal. However, there are many more people who don’t know about the important work being done by HSI and more importantly, that their help is needed to continue that good work. Critical areas include onsite services at our supportive housing residences such as: Educational Programs like Spanish classes, health awareness groups and summer enrichment program for children; Food Programs like our breakfast program and specialized HIV/AIDS meals to residents; Job Development like our 23rd Street Park Cleanup program; Recreation Programs including holiday celebrations, cooking classes, self-defense classes, and parenting groups. We need your help in introducing other interested people to our programs, or by sending letters to your friends or colleagues informing them about and encouraging their support of our programs. Or we could use your help in identifying corporate or foundation contacts willing to review a proposal, purchase a table at our annual benefit, hear a presentation or visit our facilities.
