Beneficiary Designations By naming HSI as a beneficiary of a retirement plan, insurance policy, or financial account the asset will transfer to HSI at the end of your lifetime and your estate will be entitled to a charitable deduction for the amount of the gift. When designating HSI as a beneficiary of a plan, simply provide our legal name, address and taxpayer identification number on the plans beneficiary designation.
